Applicable Legislation
The Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act) establishes legislative requirements for the registration, quality assurance and consumer protection of education providers delivering courses to international students in Australia on student visas. The ESOS Framework includes the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 (National Code 2018), which sets nationally consistent standards for the recruitment, enrolment, support and monitoring of international students, as well as provisions for tuition fee protection.

International Policies (ESOS)
The Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000, or ESOS Act, establishes legislative requirements and standards for the quality assurance of education and training institutions offering courses to international students who are in Australia on a student visa.
