Our Bourke Street campus is located in the heart of the city, with a range of different transport options available.
Our staff have a favourite location for their daily coffee needs; Sociale Espresso Bar, which is located at the rear of 530 Little Collins Street, and can be accessed through Gallaghers Place. They offer high quality beverages and food as well as superb service, and provide a loyalty program, where every 10th hot beverage is free.
Directly across the road at 600 Bourke Street is Bourke Place, which hosts an impressive food court, including Sushi, Juice, Spudbar, Mexican, as well as a Woolworths Metro.

Public Transport:
Trains – The ALG Bourke Street Campus is located 400m from Southern Cross Station, which is the terminus for regional V/Line trains, Metro Trains, Bus Services, and the SkyBus service which runs between Southern Cross and Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine)
Buses – There are two bus stops located nearby, King St/Lonsdale St (261m from the Campus) and Spencer St/Lonsdale St (265m from the Campus).
The King St/Lonsdale St Stop has 8 bus routes, including 2 on the SmartBus Network which run express from the City to the Eastern suburbs.
The Spencer St/Lonsdale St stop goes through the Western suburbs to Sunshine, and includes 3 Night Bus services, running to Watergardens, St Albans and Broadmeadows.
Trams – The ALG Bourke Street Campus is located inside the city’s free tram zone, meaning you can travel anywhere within the free tram zone without touching on your Myki.
There are 25 different tram routes, the majority of which run through the city for easy access between your home and the campus. Most of these trams run from roughly 6am until 12am/1am, however there are a few tram routes that offer night services which run every 30 minutes.
Plan your Journey – If you are travelling on a bus, train or a tram outside the free tram zone, you must ensure you have a valid Myki. Myki cards can be purchased from most convenient stores, and at most major train stations. Public Parking:
There is public parking located around the campus, and this is all pay per hour parking, and usually with a limit of 1-2 hours. There are many early bird parking options located nearby, ranging from $15 to $25, however you will need to enter and exit within certain timeframes.

Bouverie St Campus

Our Bouverie Street campus is an 11 minute walk from the iconic Queen Victoria Market, which is the largest open air market in the Southern Hemisphere! It is open every day of the week except Mondays and Wednesday, and in Summer hosts a Night Market, with live music, food and drinks, as well as a variety of other stalls.

Public Transport:
Trains – The ALG Bouverie Street Campus is located 1km from Melbourne Central Station, which is a 12-minute walk or a 10-minute tram ride. Melbourne Central Station is one of the 5 stations that make up the city loop, providing access to all train lines, including the V/Line at Southern Cross Station.
Buses – There is a Lincoln Square/Bouverie St stop located right opposite the Campus, which goes through North Melbourne to Footscray Station, as well as the Melbourne University/Pelham St stop around the corner which runs services to Carlton Gardens, North Melbourne, Footscray Station and Moonee Ponds.
Trams – The ALG Bouverie Street Campus is located outside of the city’s free tram zone, meaning you must ensure you touch on with a valid Myki.
The Lincoln Square/Swanston Street tram stop provides 8 different tram lines heading towards the city, with a tram leaving every minute from this stop.
