About this campus

Welcome to our Sydney campus, the largest of our three campuses. We have two locations – one in Quay Street, conveniently situated in Haymarket near Darling Harbour and Chinatown. The second is on York Street, right in the heart of Sydney’s bustling Central Business District, just a short 5-minute walk from the historic Queen Victoria Building.

Both locations provide easy access to Sydney’s amenities, vibrant culture, and a variety of dining options.

Darling Square

Darling Square is a dynamic urban oasis with a variety of specialty shops, diverse dining options and lively bars. Only a 5-minute walk from our Quay Street Campus, you’ll find the perfect spot to soak up the sun during your lunch break or unwind with classmates after class.

Pitt Street Mall

Just a 7-minute walk from York Street Campus you’ll find Sydney’s number 1 shopping destination for clothing, designer brands, retail shopping centres and restaurants. Two blocks of non-stop shopping and dining in the heart of Sydney.

Student Experience

Opening Hours

Quay Street Campus – 8:30am to 6pm (Monday – Thursday), 8.30am to 5pm (Friday)
York Street Campus – 8.30am to 5pm (Monday – Friday)

The Student Experience team can assist you with all matters related to your studies at ALG:

  • Administrative issues such as course information, payments, student cards and class attendance
  • Support services
  • Facilities and resources
  • LLN support services
  • Complaints and appeals
  • Accommodation
  • Personal and social issues affecting a student’s studies.

Student Support

ALG offers various support resources for students who may need some additional support. We have academic counselling sessions for students who need help in areas relating directly to their studies, Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) support, non-academic support and student counselling services.

Getting to campus

Our campus is easily accessible by public transport. It is a short stroll from Wynyard Station, one of Sydney’s largest stations for train and major bus routes.

Quay Street campus – It is a short 8-minute stroll from Central Station, one of Sydney’s largest stations for train and major bus routes. If you’re travelling via light rail, you’ll find us just a few minutes’ walk from the Paddy’s Market stop.

York Street campus – It is a short stroll from Wynyard Station, one of Sydney’s largest stations for train and major bus routes.
