Student Support

ALG offers various support resources for students who may need some additional support. We have academic counselling sessions for students who need help in areas relating directly to their studies, Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) support, non-academic support and student counselling services.

Getting to campus

Our Brisbane campus is central to the Brisbane CBD, only a hop, skip and a jump from Brisbane’s Central train station and multiple bus stops.

Edward Street Campus – It is a 3-minute walk from Central station. All train lines stop at this station so no matter what train line you are catching in or out of the city, you will be able to hop off at central and be at the ALG campus within minutes. As there are over 20 bus stops surrounding the campus, it’s best to use Brisbane’s journey planner!

Go Card – Students can register their adult card to use public transport are eligible for a concession discount! All you need to do is register your adult go card online to your name and then apply for student concession by putting in your student ID number and other details! Once approved, your adult go card will start using discounted fares!
