Thank you to all of our students who provided their feedback in our last student survey. Your feedback is extremely important to us and each term we do what we can to continuously improve our courses, campuses and resources.

This page is aimed to share our improvements and provide updates on our ‘You Spoke, We Listened’ campaign.

CAMPUS IMPROVEMENTS

BRISBANE CAMPUS

No more projectors on desks – we have installed two ceiling-mounted projectors.

AGEING STUDENTS

We have recruited dedicated teachers for your subjects and work placement to make sure you have a better experience.

We have provided more 1:1 support options to help you when you are stuck with your studies.

COMMUNITY SERVICES, COUNSELLING & MENTAL HEALTH STUDENTS

We have updated your assessments to make them easier to understand and these are now available in Mircosoft Word which will make them faster to complete.

We have employed more work placement assessors to provide you with additional support.

We have been introducing guest speakers to help improve your learning in the course.

We have been engaged with First Nations Elders and People’s to ensure the quality and accuracy of your learning.

MASSAGE STUDENTS

We have updated your logbook based on your feedback to make the clinic more straightforward (clearer instructions and more instructions for your assessments).

We have updated our guidelines and policies to make what is required cleared.

CHILDCARE STUDENTS

We have updated your assessments to make them easier to understand and these are now available in Mircosoft Word which will make them faster to complete.

We have been focused on making sure instructions on how to complete your learning and assessments make the experience more straightforward for you.

YOGA STUDENTS

Have you noticed our updated learning resources for this term – all resources were reviewed and updated based on student and trainer feedback.

We have increased the number of in-class practical activities and dedicated practical workshops to improve your skills as a future Yoga teacher.

In Melbourne, we have introduced a Yoga study onsite and are looking to do the same in Sydney for Term 4.

STUDENT VOICE FACEBOOK GROUP

This Facebook group is for our students to join and will be managed by our Campus Student Voice Representatives.

It is an open and safe ‘private group’ where you can ask each other questions, share ideas, exchange study tips, or simply encourage each other along to successfully complete their respective courses. This group is a great way to share community news and events across all campus locations.
