“The trainers at ALG are more than just teachers, they are mentors. They teach you everything you need to know in order to be a very knowledgable fitness professional. They go above and beyond to prepare you for your fitness career. I always felt free to ask questions…”
“The college has provided me with a lot of information and other resources such as First Aid. It has given so many resources to help understand childcare and the knowledge I have gained has made me confident for workplacement. I understand children’s development more since I have studied at ALG. “
“I enjoyed the practical classes of the course as they were a great opportunity to learn from experienced professionals how to apply theory. Overall, in my opinion the best part of the course were the trainers. They are very prepared, generous and experienced.”
“I’ve always liked to help people so this course was perfect for me because it helped me a lot with my personal growth and how to support other people during their own journey.”
“I am really enjoying my course and am currently doing my Work Placement at a childcare centre called Little Ducks and on the first week they offered me a job which was so awesome.”
“The benefits of studying this course is learning about anatomy and how the human body works, understanding problems and planning the treatment to suit each client. You learn new things every day and it keeps me passionate about treating people.”
“The trainers at ALG are more than just teachers, they are mentors. They teach you everything you need to know in order to be a very knowledgable fitness professional. They go above and beyond to prepare you for your fitness career. I always felt free to ask questions and they always took extra time to answer them.
When I started working in the industry I realised I was ready and well prepared to face the challenges that come with being a Personal Trainer. being part of my client’s fitness journey is a priviledge. Seeing their progress over time is so rewarding. I love coaching and educating my clients about movement and anatomy and all the reasons behind different movements. Dominic (Head Trainer) is really passionate about proper form and technique, anatomy and biomechanics when it comes to exercising and he inspired me to be the same. I am very passionate about helping others and being a coach is more than just programming and teaching form and technique. Supporting my clients in every aspect of their fitness journey within my scope of practice is what I am aiming for.
I plan to finish my Diploma of Remedial Massage and add this to my list of skills as being able to give my clients more is my goal. I dream about travelling the world to hold seminrs and workshops that educate people about movement and anatomy.
“The benefits of studying at ALG are so many, first things first, the staff are amazing, from the reception to the classrooms all the employees are qualified to do their jobs and take care of the students as a family.
I love when I arrive there and everyone knows my name, ask me if I’m good, these small things make a huge difference on our day. ALG is definitely one of the best fitness schools in Brisbane, they make sure you as a student have all the support you need, also in contact with your agency.
I found easier than I thought to find a job after get my first certificate, and could notice that as an international student I have many qualifications than many professionals here. The school prepare you for the real world and a real job, which make you feel confident and get any job you want to.
My plans for 2020 is start to work as a personal trainer as well, and keep my job as a group trainer at F45. Always developing and improving my skills to be a better professional.
I got a job as a group trainer at F45 as soon as I got my certificate III in sport and fitness, and what I enjoy more about this job is how the people are greatful for you to be there with them, encouraging or helping them with their own goals.”
“My name is Flavio and I am studying Diploma of Sports and Recreation Management and I got a job at AFL Queensland. My college has an exclusive job partnership with AFL Queensland and this helped me to get a job there. The thing like most about working there is having flexible working hours, good pay and we have the opportunity to work with kids and learn about the mot famous sport here in Australia. Come to this school and apply for a job at AFL Queensland, it’s awesome!”
“Having finished a largely academic-oriented fitness and power sports course overseas, I opted for enrolling at ACSF in an effort to gain practical and contemporary knowledge that can actually be applied in modern fitness industry, which is exactly what I got, plus a whole lot more! From the very start of my Certificate III studies, I found the course material highly relevant and ACSF staff extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
It was easy to fit in and enjoy course work in a friendly, stimulating and interactive environment. To top all that, less than three months into the course I was able to to use one of the volunteering options provided by the ACSF to start working in the industry. I can honestly say that my studies at ASCF are exceeding my expectations in every respect. I would highly recommend ACSF to everybody interested in jumping straight into the heart of the contemporary fitness world.”
“My name is Agnes and I am from Japan. I have been in Australia for 1 year and am currently studying Diploma of Remedial Massage.
The benefits of studying this course is learning about anatomy and how the human body works, understanding problems and planning the treatment to suit each client. You learn new things every day and it keeps me passionate about treating people.
I like being able to work within your own capability and keep customers satisfied as well as being able to network with other allied health professionals and learn from them.
My passion is being able to help people and make them happy. In the future I would love to work on a cruise as a massage therapist.”
“I have always had a passion for massage and it was actually my friends and workmates who encouraged me to study massage. From day one I knew it was the right pathway for me. At the end of my massage study I decided to do Fitness Course with ACSF as I was aware of the physical demand that massage career involves and I really wanted to be strong myself and also help my clients in that area. On the other hand, Diploma of Sport & Recreational Management is one of the courses I never really thought of doing but I’m so glad I have decided to give it a go.
I chose to do my three qualifications with ACSF and NSOM because I found that the school has a very high standard when it comes to academics and also putting into practice what we learn almost straight away. ACSF is an incredible school that has teachers who are devoted in what they do. The classes are of a good size, which makes learning process very easy and less intimidating. Most of all, the college is student focused making sure that we get all the support we need in completing our study and we have a better start in our future dream job.”
“Trainers here are really friendly; they’re very open to help us as international students and are very qualified. I really enjoyed studying health science which helped me to go really deep into the anatomy and muscular system.
I would really recommend this course.”
“Even though I only got to go to ALG once I feel that my experience has been really good online. At times it has been hard but I feel that the school is doing their very best of what they can do with this lockdown situation. ALG has been very helpful when I contact, the teachers have been great too.
The college has provided me with a lot of information and other resources such as First Aid etc. It has given so many resources to help understand childcare and the knowledge I have gained has made me confident for workplacement.
I have just started casual work. I love that I am able to live the experience from what I have been thought. I love and understand children’s development more since I have studied in ALG. I love being around the children and understanding more what my job is about and how important to the children’s development.
The advice that I would give to the current and future ALG International Students would be is not to be afraid to ask for help. Making sure that you attend in class as makes it less stressful and make the most of getting to know everyone as they are all there to help and support one another”
“My name is Arvind I am from Fiji and I am a student at 4Life College studying Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
I am really enjoying my course and am currently doing my Work Placement at a childcare centre called Little Ducks and on the first week they offered me a job which was so awesome.
If you come to this college you will really like it, it’s very friendly for international students and gives you the opportunity to have a career as a childhood educator, or even as a centre manager.”
“My name is Adriana I come from Spain and I’m studying Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I’m really happy with my decision because everything here is really practical and that is what you need when you’re going to be working with children. The classroom is set up like a child care centre and that makes everything really, really practical you are always hands on. I started my studies 6 months ago and now I’m doing my work placement and I’ve been really lucky because thanks to all the experience that I got through the course I got a professional opportunity in the same centre where I’m doing my work placement.
I’m really thankful for all the crew in 4Life College for all their support and help.”
“My name is Raphaela I am from Brazil. I have completed Cert IV in Ageing Support and chose to study Diploma of Community Services because I believe we can make a difference in our community. I chose this college because it is a trusted institution and offered perfect packages to help me achieve my goals. I enjoyed the practical classes of the course as they were a great opportunity to learn from experienced professionals how to apply theory. Overall, in my opinion the best part of the course were the trainers. They are very prepared, generous and experienced.
I am now employed by a big Community Service institution and everything started from the work placement that 4Life organised for me. My future plan is to complete my Diploma and start a postgraduate in Social Work.
In my opinion, the first step to achieve your goal is to understand what you really want to do. Once you’ve decided, give your best and dedicate yourself. There are always obstacles and difficult times but if you’re doing what you believe, at some point you will be successful!
I am very thankful for this course and all the knowledge that I have gained since I started studying.”
