Overview

Our yoga teacher program ensures you graduate as a well-developed and skilled teacher. The program is divided into practical and theory sessions giving you all the tools to teach yoga competently and authentically. You will learn to plan, organise and conduct yoga classes for groups or individuals, including essential methodology for teaching asana (postures), pranayama (breath), and meditation.

The Diploma of Yoga Teaching allows you to build on the CIV Yoga towards becoming a Specialist Yoga Teacher. You will deepen your knowledge and skills with advanced subjects of Yoga, meditation and philosophy. You will learn the principles of Yoga Therapy and how to deal with students who have special needs and chronic conditions. You will also undertake learning on Yoga for the stages of life including yoga for pregnancy, children’s yoga and yoga for the aged.

What style of Yoga will I learn?
Students teaching practice will follow the Hatha Yoga Tradition, our highly experienced teachers are trained in a variety of styles and over the duration of the course, students will experience the vastness of traditional and modern yoga styles.
