CHECK OUT OUR REFRESHED LOOK!

Keeping you at the centre of a new us!

For the past year, the team here at Australian Learning Group has been making an effort to put our students’ experience at the forefront of all that we do. In that time we’ve implemented initiatives such as; our “You Spoke, We Listened” campaign each term, a new and improved online Student Area with various support options, more student engagement events, and a ticketing system to manage and respond to your emails.

There is still plenty of work to be done, but we’d like to share that we’re taking the next step on the journey towards nurturing and empowering you on your path to a more meaningful career, by sharing the launch of our new look with you.

COVID-19 HELP HUB FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

A message from Study NSW

This is a challenging time for everyone. We know that some international students are struggling to meet their living expenses. Given the global impact of COVID-19 many families and funding sources from students’ home countries have also been impacted.

Study NSW and the Australian international education sector are working hard to support the health, wellbeing, and academic success of international students. A key priority is to ensure that international students have information about the support services that are available to them in Australia – locally and nationally.

ACADEMIC UPDATES

Welcome to Term 3, 2021! We hope you enjoyed the winter break and hope you are all managing to stay warm!

NEW STUDENTS

Firstly, welcome to ALG! We hope your first weeks here have been fun and interesting!

Please ensure that you have your USI entered on the student portal, as we require this in order to be able to issue any qualifications during your time with the Australian Learning Group.

In the orientation course on Canvas, ensure to upload a photo (jpeg format) for your student ID so that your Student Experience team will be able to print your ID’s and have them ready for you.

GENERAL TIPS

It is time to really get into the habit of reading through your prescribed readings and watching the recommended videos on your canvas schedule each week.

Make note of all your due dates as early as you can, so that you can organise your study time and plan ahead for the rest of the term.

Once you form that routine early, studying throughout the term will be easy, and you will find that you will start to process the information better once you get used to the same study routine each week. Please also remember to take care of yourselves physically, some light exercise, eating well, staying hydrated and taking vitamins will ensure you stay healthy, physically and mentally. This applies to all our students, whether you are on-campus or online.

Always remember; a healthy body means a healthy mind!

IF YOU ARE NOT YET SATISFACTORY FOR TERM 2, 2021:

If you have not received it already, please await the ‘Warning Letter’ which will outline submission instructions to follow and the due date for the final resubmission attempt for the term.

This will incur a resubmission fee, please await official communication in regard to payment information and specific resubmission instructions.

If you have any further questions at this time, please contact your friendly student experience team via phone or email and we will be happy to assist you!
