We made it to the end of 2020 with Christmas only just over a week away!
Everyone at Australian Learning Group is so thankful to our students sticking by us in such uncertain times, and we’re so proud to have you all!
Now that classes are done for the year, this is your time to take a deep breath, relax and recharge over the Christmas break.
The end of the year is a time to look back with satisfaction and pride at all of your achievements, and to thank everyone for making ALG what it is today.
For now, it’s time to kick back and enjoy the warm Australian summer!!
Remember to stay sun smart, stay hydrated, and be safe!

EXPLORE WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Now that classes are done for the year, get out of the city and enjoy some of Western Australia’s sights!!
Go out and meet the happiest animal in the world, Quokkas! Rottnest Island is now open to the public, so spend a whole day or plan a multiple day trip to the Island and explore what Rottnest has to offer! See more information about your travels to Rottnest here.
Or if you’re not a fan of ferries and want to stay away from the water, travel up to Cervantes for the Pinnacles Desert of Nambung National Park! Just two hours north of Perth’s northern suburbs, escape to white sandy beaches, old country towns and some of the oldest fossils known to man.
If you’re looking to head south, Albany is a sight to see. Located along Western Australia’s southern coast (quite the trek; a five-hour drive from Perth city but well worth it) Albany is a place of remarkable history and home to breath taking nature reserves and beaches.
Explore a bit more of Western Australia while the weather is clear and enjoy your summer break!

STUDENT SUPPORT
SUPPORT DURING CHRISTMAS BREAK
For many people, the festive season is an exciting time to connect with others and celebrate. But for others, it can be the most stressful time of the year. ALG offices close from Friday, 18th December 2020 and reopen Monday, 4th January 2021. During this period if you feel you need support or assistance, we have put together a page of tools and resources for our students to ensure you still have a support network during the break.
Please make sure you reach out for assistance in case of need! We have selected some great support options for Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane including food and accommodation.
