MEET NICOLAS

“I chose to study early childhood education to improve my knowledge and keep my mind healthy towards helping others. The best part about studying at ALG are the people I study with, students, teachers and staff.

I think studying is one of the best things to keep us alive. It’s important to build new relationships, meet new people and help others with our knowledge and experience. ALG has all of that and more. Take the time and the opportunity to do it.”

FOODBANK FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

They believe everyone should have access to good quality food, and for this reason they provide this support to all students in need.Food-bank operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. All you have to do it’s take your student ID or proof of enrolment, and your own bag. In the food bank stores you can find all essential products such as eggs, dairy products, vegetables, rice, etc. Please remember only to take food that you will use and do not contribute to food waste. There will be many other students who are likely going to be in the same situation that you are.If you have friends who are experiencing financial difficulties, share this with them, as you can always help someone else. You can find Food-Bank in all states in Australia.
