My name is Mohammad, here in the Australian College of Sport and Fitness I have completed the Certificate 3 and 4 in fitness including a Diploma in Fitness. It has been a wonderful experience with teachers that are up to date with the current and latest trend in the industry. Having a certificate 3 and 4 in fitness would allow me to secure almost any job in the field of fitness. And now with a Diploma in Fitness, I am able to pursue a higher certification of education through the pathway provided by the ACSF and Australian Catholic University (ACU). It is my goal to be able to obtain a degree in Exercise Physiology which would provide a vast range of work within the Health and Fitness industry that includes gyms and clinics or hospitals. This can be obtained by the pathway course of Degree in Exercise Health Science. An excellent way for those like me who are passionate in helping others.
I have recently completed my Certificate III in Fitness at Australian College of Sport and Fitness. I am very thankful that I decided to give a go in ACSF. I have enjoyed every aspect of the course. All my teacher have always made the effort to help me when needed, and have always been enthusiastic and interactive with the students.
I have learnt a lot and became even more passionate about health and helping others achieve goals and overcome obstacles.
I would recommend the College to anyone!
Q: What qualification did you study?
A: I have studied Certificate III and IV in Fitness and I am really looking forward to the Diploma.
Q: What do you think about the teachers at the college?
A: I like the teachers here because they are all so different since they are from different countries and different cultures. They also all have a different way of teaching, so every term it is a new experience.
Q: What do you think about the courses?
A: The best thing about the courses is that in practical and even in theory the teachers make it fun. They keep it interesting and it rarely gets boring. Especially in practical classes you get to go outside and you change gyms every term.
Q: What do you think sets this college apart from others?
A: I have studied with other colleges before and often found it very boring and unorganized. ACSF is the best college so far because you are constantly supported and constantly active.
Q: What do you think about the opportunity to study at 4 different campuses?
A: I think it is a great that you have the choice to study somewhere else. Especially if something changes and you maybe want to work somewhere else. And there are great cities: Melbourne is a littler cheaper, Perth and Brisbane a little warmer and Sydney is just overall awesome.
Q: What would you say to other students?
A: Do it! It is a great experience. If you are an active person and you want keep it that way, want to stay healthy, make sure your family and friends stay healthy and would like to make this your job, go for it!

“We currently employ international graduates from the Australian College of Sport & Fitness. It is great to now be able to have a team of staff from different nationalities working for our organization. The College really prepares them for the workplace.”
“We employ 3 international graduates from the Australian College of Sport & Fitness. I also personally know some trainers and managers of the College who are all extremely passionate about fitness and the training outcomes for their students.”
I discovered my passion for the industry as a 14 year old cricketer who was prescribed an intensive S&C program (which introduced me to the squat, deadlift, row, etc.) to recover from a number of overuse injuries which were the result of weaknesses. The passion kept growing and growing as I got older and learnt more independently before I decided to pursue a career in fitness. I completed my Certificate III & IV in Fitness with ACSF and have since progressed onto university to study my BSc (Exercise & Sport Science) and as well as complete other course such as: AWF Level 1 Weightlifting, ASC Level 1 Powerlifting and my Level 1 Australian Strength & Conditioning Association Licence which are all on the pathway to my career goal as working as a S&C coach with elite athletes.
I came to Australia in May 2014. I have a massive passion for fitness, nutrition and healthy living. I love to help and motivate people to live a healthier and happier life. I began my certificate 3 sport and fitness which will lead on to my certificate 4 then diploma in sport and recreational management. My dream is to become a personal trainer and build a well established business of my own in Australia. I have already used the skills and knowledge i have learned from ACSF to obtain an internship in a boxing gym in the northern beaches of Sydney that has excellent long term prospects which may include sponsorship in Australia. Due to this i have huge appreciation to my lecturers at ACSF as they are second to none. They show massive interest in every student making sure they get the best education possible in every single lesson.
I have always had a passion for massage and it was actually my friends and workmates who encouraged me to study massage. From day one I knew it was the right pathway for me. At the end of my massage study I decided to do Fitness Course with ACSF as I was aware of the physical demand that massage career involves and I really wanted to be strong myself and also help my clients in that area. On the other hand, Diploma of Sport & Recreational Management is one of the courses I never really thought of doing but I’m so glad I have decided to give it a go. I chose to do my three qualifications with ACSF and NSOM because I found that the school has a very high standard when it comes to academics and also putting into practice what we learn almost straight away. ACSF is an incredible school that has teachers who are devoted in what they do. The classes are of a good size, which makes learning process very easy and less intimidating. Most of all, the college is student focused making sure that we get all the support we need in completing our study and we have a better start in our future dream job.
